Do you need them?
It seems like the formal living room is fading away fast.
But most homes have a dining room.

What is your preference?
Both dining room and living room?
One or the other?
Neither?

Personally, I like to entertain a little, and a formal dining room is very pleasant either for dinners or to offer a buffet.
I want a butler's pantry, too.

French doors are great. I like openness, but sometimes I like to be able to have some privacy.
I like barn doors, too.

We have my great grandparents' dining room set.
It deserves a room of its own.

We have a 140 year old set. It is beautiful.
I want to put it into a nice dining room with a sunny bay window.
