We need a building in back, something like 12 by 16 feet.
Any recommendations on contractors?

Has anyone ever used Carolina Yard Barns for a shed?
We want something good, not a piece of junk.

They built two on my street and they both look great.

I would suggest you to hire a local contractor to take out a corner cabinet. I think use of Smartside would be best as far as I know is pretty good stuff. The shed will be on treated wood skids, sitting about 6" off a gravel bed.

Do they build it at your house or do they haul it in on a flatbed truck and drop it in place?
I need a shed, but I want quality.

I think Carolina Yard Barns builds the shed on site, with a precut kit from their shop. We were looking, but haven't done anything yet, and I think that is what they told me.
You couldn't hardly get a flat bed truck and a 12x16 shed into my back yard. It will have to be built there.

That's right. They precut at the shop and build on site.

Carolina Yard Barns built my neighbor's shed. And, I wish I had hired them instead of the fools we used.
Neighbors spent a little more, but got a lot more quality and service.
